Install your email signature in Gmail
Gmail supports rich HTML signatures, so your WeLink signature — logo, colors, links — pastes in perfectly. Three minutes, three steps.
First, copy your signature
- 1Open your personal signature link (shared by your administrator by email), or the Signatures section of the WeLink dashboard if you manage the organization.
- 2Click "Copy signature". The formatted signature is now in your clipboard.
Paste it into Gmail (web)
- 1In Gmail, click the gear icon → "See all settings".
- 2Stay on the General tab and scroll down to Signature.
- 3Click "+ Create new", name the signature (e.g. "WeLink"), then paste (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V) into the editor.
- 4Under "Signature defaults", select it for new emails — and for replies/forwards if your organization uses one there too.
- 5Scroll to the bottom and click "Save Changes".
If the signature looks squeezed in the small editor, don't worry — check the rendering by composing a new email, not in the settings box.
On the Gmail mobile app
The Gmail apps for iPhone and Android use their own "mobile signature", which is plain text only. If you leave it empty, Gmail on mobile falls back to no signature — not to your web signature.
- 1Recommended: leave the mobile signature off and keep the rich signature for messages sent from a computer.
- 2Alternatively, set a short plain-text version (name, title, phone) in the app settings: Menu → Settings → your account → Signature (or "Mobile signature" on Android).
Google Workspace? Automate it
If your company runs Google Workspace, administrators can skip manual installation entirely: WeLink pushes each collaborator's signature directly into Gmail and keeps it up to date when anything changes — a new phone number, a rebrand, a campaign banner.
Signature not saving? Gmail silently discards changes if you navigate away before clicking "Save Changes" at the very bottom of the settings page.
